This block print features a classic shrimp boil set up… gulf shrimp surrounded by lemon wedges, herbs, and spices…everything you need for a good table and good company. Shrimp boils are communal by nature, a little messy, and deeply joyful, and this print is a quiet homage to those shared meals.
The print is available in a classic black-and-white version or a hand-watercolored edition. The watercolored prints are painted individually, so each one has its own variations in color and mood while staying true to the original image.
Each print is hand printed using oil-based ink from a linoleum block that I carved by hand. Because of this process, no two prints are exactly alike. You may receive a slightly different impression of the same image, printed from the same block using the same ink and paper.
