Oyster Shucker Block Print
Oysters are a way of life on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and this print is a love letter to that tradition. Inspired by a moment in my kitchen—my husband shucking fresh oysters from our friends at Eagle Point Oyster Co.—this image captures the beauty and ritual of eating local.
I took a photo that night and couldn’t help but turn it into a block print.
Each print is hand-carved and hand-printed using oil-based ink and a linoleum block. Because of the handmade process, each one is a little different, making yours truly one of a kind.
Details:
• Image size: 4x6"
• Paper size: 5x7"
• Printed on recycled French Paper Company stock
OPTIONAL: Comes in a simple black plastic frame, ready to hang
Whether you’re a coastal local, a seafood lover, or someone who believes in supporting regional foodways, this print is a small celebration of eating with intention.
Eat local oysters!
